We want you to be 100% completely satisfied with your purchase, and do our best to provide expert guidance to help you choose the best battery for your needs. We also understand that sometimes mistakes are made. That is why we make returns easy.

Quick Overview

  • You are free to return almost any item within 30 days of receipt.
  • Non Defective items not shipped in error are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • We pay all shipping costs if a return is a result of our error and you are exchanging it for the item you ordered (i.e. received an incorrect or defective item, etc). All other returns are responsible for roundtrip shipping.

How to Set Up a Return

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns. Please contact us to set up a return. Returns are processed and credited within 7 to 10 days of receipt. Return credit will be issued in the same manner as the original payment method.

Please mail all returns to the address below. We highly recommend the use of a traceable shipping method such as UPS or FedEx. Please write your RMA number on the outside of the shipping box.

Return Policy Details

Returned Items

  • A 20% restocking fee applies to all Non Defective items not shipped in error.
  • All items must be returned in "like new" condition. Items returned in other than "like new" condition may be subject to additional restocking fees. Returned items are subject to inspection prior to issuing credit.

Shipping Fees

  • Shipping costs are not refundable. Customers are responsible for round trip shipping on returned items. If you received free shipping then actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
  • International shipping costs are not refundable. Battery Guy does not cover any shipping costs for international warranty repairs or replacements.

Warranty

  • All sla, nicad and pure lead batteries are warranted to be free from defect in materials and workmanship. We will repair or replace any battery that does not perform within one year after the date of shipment. All other batteries are warranted according to the battery type.
  • The buyer must notify Battery Guy within 30 days of the warranty period of such a defect or the warranty will become null and void. If the battery has been subjected to neglect or misuse, the warranty shall not apply.

What’s Not Returnable?

  • Special order or custom made products.
  • Please contact us to confirm return eligibility for any special order or custom made products.

How to Cancel an Order

Most orders ship within 24-72 hours. Please call us immediately if you should choose to cancel your order. We promise to make every effort to cancel your order before it ships.

  • If we are unable to cancel an item before it ships, it will be subject to our standard return policy.
  • Special order or custom made products will not be eligible for cancellation.
  • We will confirm all cancellations submitted to us, whether successful or not, via e-mail or by phone.
