PLC Battery – a battery that is used to back up the memory of a programmable logic controller (PLC). A programmable logic controller is a digital computer often used in automated processes such as assembly lines, robotics, lighting and amusement park rides. They typically come with a wire lead and connector attached to the battery that plugs into the PLC.
